Day 1 : Welcome to Portugal !!! Lisbon - The
Portuguese Capital. |

Today,enter the world of Airtours Holidays as
you begin your beautiful journey of Europe.
On arrival at the Lisbon airport proceed to
your hotel and check in on your own (Please
arrive at the hotel at 1400 hrs. Reconfirm
with your travel agent for the exact timing
& details about your tour, hotels & meeting
place with the tour manager).
This evening, you have some time to explore
the sights and sounds of Lisbon on your
own.

Overnight at hotel Zurique or similar, in
Lisbon.

Day 2 : Guided city tour. Visit the Belem Tower,
Jeronimo’s Monastery and Padroa
Monument. |
|
After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, join an
experienced English speaking local guide for
a tour of this legendary city. Visit the Belem
Tower - Lisbon’s icon, a symbol of the Age of
Discovery. Next, visit Jeronimo’s Monastery -
one of the great triumphs of European Gothic
architecture (UNESCO has classified it a World
Heritage monument), which also houses
Vasco da Gama’s tomb. See impressive
sights like Rossio Square, Comercio Square,
Marques de Pombal Square and much more.
Later, visit the Padroa Monument - the
discoveries monument. Here take an elevator
to the top for a bird’s eye view of Lisbon. After
an exciting city tour enjoy an Indian lunch.
Later,
you have time at leisure to enjoy great
shopping opportunities or just explore this
beautiful city.

Day 3 : Visit a Winery. Visit Faro - The Algarvian
capital. Onto Spain. |
|
After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, check
out and drive to Seville - the Andalusian
capital and 3rd largest city in Spain. Enroute,
visit a winery for a guided tour and some
wine tasting. Later, drive to Faro - the
administrative centre of the Algarve region of
Portugal. Enjoy the beautiful blend of Arabic
and Roman architecture. After lunch drive
onto Seville and check in to the hotel.

Overnight at hotel Gran Lar/Al Andalus or
similar, in Seville.

Day 4 : Guided city tour of Seville. Visit the Giralda
Tower, the Cathedral and Maria Luisa Park. Onto Tangiers - the Moroccan Capital. |

After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, check
out and join an experienced English speaking local guide for your city tour. Visit the Cathedral
of Seville - the largest place of worship in
Spain, and the third largest cathedral in the
Christian world. Visit the Giralda Tower - the
bell tower of the Cathedral of Seville and
one of three remaining Almohad minarets
in the world. Visit, the Maria Luisa Park - a
paradisiacal half mile of palms and orange
trees, elms and Mediterranean pines and the
spectacular Plaza de Espana. After lunch,
proceed to Algeciras/Tarifa and board your
ferry to Tangiers - the Mediterranean capital
of Morocco.

Day 5 : Full Day tour of Tangiers and Tetouan. |

After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, proceed
for a full day tour with an English speaking
local guide. Tangiers - at the crossroads Africa and Europe, is the capital of the
Moroccan Mediterranean that combines the
interests of a traditional city with its medina
and souks and magnificent sandy beaches. A
picturesque city, built on several hills. Later,
drive to Tetouan - a shining relic of the beauty
of Northern Morocco as it looks over the
Mediterranean. Enjoy the spectacular blend
of beauty, art, history and culture as you tour
this city. After lunch, visit the Kasbah - an
absolute must see. Built on the highest point in Tangiers, it has excellent views over the
Straits of Gibraltar and neighboring Spain..

Day 6 : Onto Malaga – Capital of the Costa
del Sol. |

After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, check
out and proceed to the port for your ferry to Algeciras/Tarifa. On arrival, proceed to
Malaga via the Costa del Sol, the stunning
coastal region spanning over 150 kms.
Enroute, enjoy an Indian lunch. On arrival
into Malaga you have some free time to stroll
along the promenade before checking into
the hotel. |

Malaga.

Day 7 : Visit Granada. Guided tour of Alhambra
and Generalife – A UNESCO World
Heritage site. |
|
|
After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, check
out and proceed to the spectacular city of
Granada founded on the foothills of Spain’s
highest mountains. On arrival, enjoy an Indian
lunch. Later, join an experienced English
speaking local guide on a tour of the Alhambra
and Generalife Heritage site. In Alhambra
- The Red Palace, visit the numerous halls,
chambers, bedrooms, baths, summer-rooms,
etc., and marvel at Moorish architecture
and decoration dating from 1320 onwards.
Later, continue to the Generalife - a place of
leisure and recreation for the Moorish Kings of Granada. Its beautiful gardens stand out with their abundant and varied flora and
stunning water features, described in one
poem as “water that cries”. After enjoying
these superb sights proceed to your hotel
and check in.

Day 8 : Toledo - A “City of the three cultures”. Visit
the Damascene Steel Workshop. Visit the
Santo Tome Church. Onto Madrid - the
Spanish Capital. |

out and proceed to Toledo where Christians,
Arabs and Jews lived together for centuries.
On arrival, enjoy an Indian lunch. Later on
your guided tour visit the Santo Tome Church
- The tower is one of the finest examples
of Mudejar art. View the Puerta Del Sol –
literally the centre of Spain. Next, visit the
Damascene Steel Workshop where you can
see metal and gold artifacts. Continue on to
Madrid. On arrival, proceed to the hotel and
check in.

Prado Museum and Plaza de Espana. |

speaking local guide. Visit the Royal Palace
- considered by many to be one of the finest
palaces in Europe. Visit the Prado Museum -
The quality and variety of its collection makes
the Prado Museum one of its kinds. After lunch,
proceed on an orientation tour of this city.
See stunning sights like the Plaza de Espana,
Sabatini Garden, Cervantes Statue and also
the Parliament. The evening is at leisure to
explore the various shopping arcades. |

Visit Zaragoza - in the Ebro Valley. On to
Barcelona. |

check out and drive towards Barcelona.
Enroute stop at Zaragoza - one of the great
monumental towns of Spain in the valley
of Ebro, Spain’s most water-bearing river
surrounded by impressive landscape with
picturesque villages and very old traditions
and popular customs. After an Indian lunch,
proceed to the bustling city of Barcelona -
Spain’s colorful and exotic culture comes
alive here. On arrival, proceed to the hotel
and check in.

Guided city Tour. Visit Sagrada Familia, Casa
Mila and the Spanish Village. |

After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, join an
English speaking local guide for a full day
tour of this city. Visit the magnificent Sagrada
Familia - a massive Roman Catholic Basilica
and Gaudi’s masterpiece. The sight of this
masterpiece is nothing
short of dramatic.
Visit the Casa Mila - an expressionist and
unconventional apartment block created by
Gaudi. It breaks traditional architecture by
not using a single straight line. Later visit the
Spanish Village - laid out for the 1929 World Exhibition. It displays the building styles
which are typical of the various provinces
of Spain. After an Indian lunch, visit Les
Ramblas - the bustling city centre and enjoy
some time at leisure, exploring the stylish and
exclusive shopping areas of this great city.
