Cidade Maravilhosa, "the marvellous city" as it is known to its residents (or cariocas) and the rest of the Brazil, is also arguable the most beauriful city, both in terms of its setting and its people. This is, after all, the city that brought us the girl from Ipanema and all her friends. Rio de janeiro, the world's largest tropical city, is a mix of a major metropolitan centre, with all the facilites you might expect, with excellent restaurants, sophisticated night life, charming bars, musical extravaganzas, theatre, cinema, museums, art galleries and world-class shopping and resort. As a tropical resort, Rio offers miles of golden beaches, including, Ipanema and Copacabana, two of the most famous stretches of sand in the world, and near perfect weather all year round.

Day 2 : Rio De Janeiro

Sugar Loaf Tour : Drive to "Praia Vermelha" (Red beach), to take the two stage car up to the top of Sugar Loaf (270 meters-high), which grants the entrance to Rio's harbour and Guanabara Bay. The Italian made cable car holds 80 passengers and each of the two stages takes two minutes. The first stage is Morro da Urca with 170 metres, with a restaurant, amphitheatre and heliport. The seond stage goes on the Sugar Loaf itself, thus named for its resemblances to the loves of sugar used by the Portuguese at the time of the city's discovery.
The Sugar Loaf complex includes two hills. The shortest hill is named Morrro da Urca the first stop of the cable cars. It's 224 meters tall. This is where the restaurant and amphitheatre are located. The views are spectacular at sunset.

Day 3 :
Rio De Janeiro
After a buffet breakfast at the hotel.
Take the train to Corcovado Mountain with gigantic statue of Christ the Redeemer (2,200 fr. above sea level). A modem swiss made cog-wheel rail climbs the mountain from its base at 15 mts almost to the summit at 710 mts. The trip up takes 17 mins approx, at maxmum speed of 15 km/hour. The trip down take s22 min at speed of 12km/hours.

Thirty beutiful "multa-dancers' together with a competent male cast take a culture journey on the popular Brazilian music. When the Portuguese settlers couldn't impose their habits, religion or slavery on the only way they found was to bring African for labor, which besides the workforce brought also their culture. Enslaved in the deep bilges of the ships, the Africans felt a huge homesickness of the place to which they could not go back again.
Then they sang their suffering using the sound of improvised drums. These moans contained marks of several generations, the legacy of their ancestors.

Brazilian Falls : Afternoon visit to the Brazilian side to enjoy a panoramic view of the falls during a walking tour through the passages that connect the different observation points for a panoramic view of the fall framed by a myriad of rainbows.

Day 5 : Foz Do Iguacu

Argentinian Falls : Morning tour of the falls on the Argentine side. Cascading over the borders of Argentina and Brazil, lguassu is a Guarani word, which translates as 'big water', which is a bit of an understatement as the falls are 1.7 miles (2.7 kilometres) wide. There are actually about 272 separate waterfalls ranging fron 200 to 270 (60 and 82 metres) in height and numerous islands along the falls. Part of the falls tumbles into the Garganta del Diablo, meaning the 'Devil's Throat'. As a result of the many falls and inevitable curtain of mist, there are often numerous rinbows. Walk along the Upper and Lower Catwalks that allow a close look at the falls and ride an open train departing from the Visitors Center to make the journey up to 'Garganta Station' to watch, after a 1,200 meter walk up to the Devil's Throat balcony, one of the greatest shows on earth, Return by train to the Visitor Center.

Day 6 : Foz Do Lgaucu / Buenos Aires

In the afternoon transfer to the local Airport. Arrival at Ezeiza International Airport. Transfer to the Hotel.

Day 7 : Buenos Aires

A different and original approach to discover the city's most beautiful places, bars and avenues, to live her cultural life and to see her rich history come alive. A tour covering the outstanding points of interet : '9 de Julio' Avenue, Colon Theater (Opera House), San Telmo neighbourhood, birthplace of the city, May Square, historical and political centre. La Boca district, famous for 'Caminito' street, May Avenue, Recoleta district, known for its Cemetery and Palermo, wide beautiful park located in the heart of one of the most elegant areas in the city.

Day 8 : Buenos Aires
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Full day Fiesta Gaucha Tour at Estancia Santa Susana.
An opportunity to meet 'gauchos' in their own environment. A ride to the ourskirts of the city into the countryside, the 'pampas', cradle of the 'gaucho' and the rich 'gaucho' tradition that was so beautifually portrayed by writer Jose Hernandez in his famous 'Martin Fierro'. Visit a typical Estancia in Buenos Aires Province where the welcome is with delicious Argentine 'empanadas' followed by a delicious' asado criollo' (barbecue) prepared in the traditional fashion, everything well accompanied by local wines. After lunch, a folklore show and a gaucho skills demonstration will complete the day.
