Since its foundation on the 18th of January 1535 by the conqueror of Peru, Francisco Pizarro, Lima, or the "City of KIngs" (the name was given the city because of the proximity of the date of its foundation to January the 6th , the day of the three kings) has been the capital of Peru. Its magnificent colonial architecture led UNESCO to declare the Historic Center of LIma a World Heritage Site. HD - City Tour + Gold Museum.
This tour includes points of interest such as the Main Square (Plaza Mayor), Government Palace, City Hall, the Catherdral, the San Francisco Convent and its "Catacombs" ancient underground cemetery of Lima, El Oidor, Torre Tagle Palace, a beautiful mansion dating back to the 18the century and the Osambela House. Afterwards visit to the Gold Museum having splendid collection and also exhibits a large gun collection.
The tour continues to he new residential and Commercial areas of San Isidro and Miraflores.

Day 2 : Lima - Cusco
Buffet breakfast at Selected Hotel. Transfer to Airport to board flight to Cusco. Arrival at Cusco Domestic Airport Transfer to Hotel.
14.00 - HD - City Tour + Nearby Ruins "Cusco".
Visit to the Koricanda or temple of the Sun and continue the excursion with the visit to the nearby ruins of Tambomachy, Kenki, Puca - Pucara, and finally the fortress of Sacsayhuaman.

Day 3 :
Cusco / Machu Picchu / Cusco
Buffect buffet breakfast at the hotel.
Full day Machu Picchu Tour.
Early pick up and board to Machu Picchu, which goes through Urubamba Valley and mountaintop ruins of Machu Picchu. Standard menu Lunch Included.

Afternoon train back to cusco. Arrival to the station meet and transfer to the hotel.

Day 4 :
Cusco / Pisac & Ollantaytambo / Cusco
Buffet breakfast at the hotel.
You will vist Pisac, a picturesque town located 19.8 miles or 32 Km. northeast of Cusco. The Colonial Church, where masses in Quechua are held every Sunday, is an important tourist attraction that has to be visited. Lunch is included.
In the afternoon you will visit the remarkable for tress of Ollantaytambo, built by the Incas.A very steep stone staircase leads into the for tress. Across an esplanade there is a temple with 10 inches, and beside it a block of partially unworked stones. Beyond another esplanade, six huge rectangular monoliths (estimated weight : 50 tons) from the Temple of the Sun. Vestiges of rooms are seen on top,and on the other side of the hill a four storey building, wither a military school or prison.
Suggestion : pack an overnight bag for Sacred Valley due to limited space on the trains or cars for big luggage. The hotel will store other luggage.
