Departure in the evening from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Mumbai.
Day 2 : (Thursday) Jaigadh, Ganapatipula, Ratnagiri and Bhatye Beach
Morning – Arrival at Bhoke Railway Station. Reaach Rai Bhatgaon Jetty by AC bus for Backwater Cruise upto historical Fort Jaigad. Board the bus to explore the fines beach along the Konkan coast. Lunch at Ganapatipule Beach Resort. Later, board the bus for sightseeing Fort, Lokmanya Tilak Smarak and Ratnagiri Bazaar. Board the train at Ratnagiri Railway station.
Day 3 :
( Friday) Sindhudurg, Tarkarli and Sawantwadi
Arrival at Sindhudurg Nagari Railway station. Departure by AC Bus to Malvan Jetty to reach Sindhudurga Sea Fort. From jetty proceed to Tarkarli beach resort for lunch. After lunch with the Backwater Cruise, move through the Tarkarli creek upto Kalse Jetty.
It will be followed by a visit to Sawantwadi town by bus to witness fabulous lacquer handicrafts, paintings and furniture at the “Shilagrama” in the town. Late in the evening, board the train at Sawantwadi railway station.
Day 4 :
(Saturday) Goa Arrival at Karmali – Goa
The most frequented tourist spot in India. Board the bus to reach Old Goa to witness; Basilica De Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral, Se Cathedral and the Church of St. Francis of Assisi (which began as a mosque but now is an archaeological museum for Goan antiques). Proceed to Panjim by bus. Free time to get a glimpse of the city and the bazaar followed by lunch at Fort Aguada Beach Resort. After lunch, enjoy visits to Dona Paula & 250 years old Goan House.
Late in the evening, board the train from Madgaon railway station.
Day 5 : (Sunday) Pune
Arrival at Pune, the erstwhile capital of Maharastra
Board the bus to reach Old Goa to witness; Basilica De Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral, Se Cathedral and the Church of St. Francis of Assisi (which began as a mosque but now is an archaeological museum for Goan antiques). Proceed to Panjim by bus. Free time to get a glimpse of the city and the bazaar followed by lunch at Fort Aguada Beach Resort. After lunch, enjoy visits to Dona Paula & 250 years old Goan House.
In the evening board the train from Pune railway station.
Day 6 : (Monday) Auranabad Arrival at Aurangabad railway station
Proceed by raod to witness historical Fort Daulabad. Ellora Caver, a World Heritage Site, having 34 cave temples dedicated to three different religions - Hinduism. Buddhism & Jainism. Lunch and Cultural program at Hotel Taj. After lunch visit to: Shivaji Museum with weapons and antiques from the great Maratha Empire. Auganabad Caves No.7 & 8, Bibi-ka-Maqbara, a replica of Taj Mahal and a grand piece of Mughal architecture. Enjoy shopping at Paithani, Himaroo, Bidri work from showrooms for a perfect memorabilia.
Day 7 : (Tuesday) Ajanta & Nashik Arrival at Jalgaon railway station. Board the bus to Fardapur resort
After breakfast proceed to visit the renowned, Buddhist caves of Ajanta, World Heritage Site and witness some of the finest paintings and sculptures of the second century AD. At noon, board the train at Bhusawal railway station, Proceed to Nashik Enjoy lunch on-board.
Arrival at Nashik railway station. Departure to visit Panchawati Ghat and Sula Winery Yard. Wine and dine at the vineyard.
Late in the night, board the train at Nashik railway station.
Day 8 : (Wednesday) Mumbai
Arrival at CST - Mumbai.
